Job summary

We are seeking highly motivated Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) to join our dynamic and growing regional stroke team. Applicants must be willing and able to commit to completing MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. This can be from a nursing or AHP background.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality stroke care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and support our vision of a truly integrated stroke service.

The service is recruiting to 3 ACP roles, that will be a blend of 8a ACP and B7 Trainee ACP, and priority will be given to the right candidates across both.

Main duties of the job

Undertake and complete a Masters Degree in Advanced Practice (or equivalent) alongside robust speciality advanced practice training and completion of a portfolio of evidence.

Exercise autonomous clinical expertise, high levels of judgement and decision making and utilise advanced clinical skills to ensure that their patients receive holistic, timely and high-quality care.

Draw on expertise on the four pillars of advanced practice to lead and influence improvements to standards of care.

Develop a culture of organisational learning to inspire future and existing staff.

Influence or lead on the improvement of care though clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and research in collaboration with clinical and academic colleagues.

Demonstrate compassionate leadership in daily working
