Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the REI Day Case Unit. This role includes preparing patients for surgery, admitting and discharging them home. To carry out pre op assessment clinics and ophthalmic related investigations.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
Main duties of the job
Within the REI Day of Surgery Unit we deal with all aspects of eye surgery . We have a very enthusiastic team who are welcoming and always eager to help. In house training is provided for the right candidates. Please feel free to pay us a visit and the staff will answer any questions you may have . The vacancy is full time which at the present means 5 shifts a week .Ophthalmic experience is not essential but some knowledge is desirable. Please see attached job description.
