Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated CT radiographer who puts the patient at the centre of their practice, whilst also possessing excellent leadership and teaching skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an excellent knowledge of CT technologies and be able to demonstrate previous experience in a leadership and or education role. Directly supporting the lead CT radiographer in the day to day running of the CT service with a focus on education and training.

Main duties of the job
This role will have specific responsibilities for the management of CT training and education. They will have a specific responsibility for ensuring the education of new radiographers in the CT team and monitoring and supporting the competencies of the existing radiographers.
The successful candidate will split their time between the administrative role and clinical scanning of patients maintaining their clinical competencies as an expert radiographer.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for the day to day running of the department supporting the Lead CT radiographer and standing in during periods of leave.
