Job summary
University Hospitals Plymouth (UHP) NHS Trust is delighted to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking Cardiac Physiologist to join our wonderful team.
This is a very exciting time for our Cardiology Department. We have been very fortunate to have secured a full departmental rebuild including the addition of a 4th Cardiac Catheter Lab and complete refurbishment of our existing labs. This has enabled installation of the latest technology for EPS/Ablation as well as a full range of other cardiac interventional procedures. The building work is well underway and is due for completion towards the end of the year.
As the tertiary hospital and cardio-thoracic centre for the Southwest, we provide a full range of non-invasive and invasive procedures. We work closely with surgical teams performing structural interventions and ablations.
Training could be provided under Annex 21 or at a reduced banding until competency completed.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS at Risk staff throughout Devon who is able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
