Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our nursing team. Torcross ward is a busy 8 bedded Coronary Care unit. We are also a tertiary referral centre for cardiac conditions in the South West . The patients we care for include those with acute coronary syndrome undergoing PPCI. In addition to this, patients with arrhythmias, heart failure and preoperative cardiac surgery .
We aim to provide a friendly and professional working environment, whilst delivering a high standard of care to our patients.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for co-ordinating and delivering effective quality nursing care following a patient centred model of practice, ensuring the ward runs efficiently.
Assessing the needs, planning, implementing and evaluating the care for a group of patients.
Work as part of the multidisciplinary team
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
