We are looking for an Assistant Technical Officer to work within our stock control team. Full training will be given in all aspects of the role. We are currently completing a business case to enable us to relocate to a state of the art new aseptic unit facility.
The post holder will be expected to participate in weekend, late duty & bank holiday rotas. Core hours are 37.5 per week within the hours of 7am - 8pm. Part time hours will be considered.
Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS at Risk staff throughout Devon who is able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
Main duties of the job
You will undertake technical duties in stock control relating to items used for prepared/manufactured pharmaceuticals within Pharmacy aseptic services. The ideal candidate will have a good general education. If not already held, you will take part in the BTEC Level 2 Managing Pharmaceutical Stock (in-house training is provided). A willingness to respond flexibly to the needs of the Pharmacy and the Trust is essential. You will take part in the Bank Holiday; weekend and your shifts may be between 7am and 8pm.
