Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a Band 7 full time Specialist Nurse role to work as part of the Community Paediatric Service. The successful candidate will join a diverse team of supportive professionals working within the service.
The postholder will support the care and assessment of children with ASD/ ADHD (neurodevelopmental conditions).
The role includes the delivery of independent nurse-led clinics for review of patients covering the Mansfield/Ashfield/Newark/Sherwood areas, alongside opportunities to support young people and families and be involved in neurodevelopmental assessments.
There may be wider opportunities to develop skills through training and teaching within the Trust.
The role would suit those wishing to enhance their knowledge and expertise, and secondment placements would be considered.
Candidates for the post must be registered with the NMC and have some experience of working with children/young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Post holder will also preferably hold nurse prescribing qualification V300.
