We are seeking an enthusiastic Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an anaesthetic module to join our friendly, highly skilled theatre teams at King's Mill Hospital.
You will be part of a supportive, well-established service that values teamwork, excellence, and patient-centred care within a busy theatre environment.
King's Mill Hospital has 14 modern operating theatres and a dedicated minor operations suite. Our wide-ranging specialties include Obstetrics, Emergency Surgery, Upper GI, Vascular, Breast, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, General and Colorectal Surgery, Orthopaedics, and Gynaecology--offering excellent opportunities to develop and broaden your skills.
The role includes supporting resuscitation calls, ECT and cardioversion lists, and intra- and inter-hospital transfers.
We are committed to professional development and career progression. You will work closely with the Clinical Education Department Leader to ensure training meets NMC/HCPC standards and that competency packs and skills matrices remain robust and up to date.
