Clinical Typist

Job summary

Join our Respiratory Typist Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality audio typing and clerical support for the department. You will work closely with Patient Pathway Coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio typing of clinical correspondence within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining accuracy and speed in typing tasks
  • Prioritising workload to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Using initiative to respond to queries appropriately

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Fast and accurate audio typing skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
