Job summary
  Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Band 6 Midwife to join our traditional community midwifery team working within teams in Mansfield, Sherwood, Ashfield or Newark. The role includes a mixture of working hour patterns and nights on call to support the needs of the women in our care.
Your role will support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and evidence-based woman centred care, which can be delivered in a variety of models.
You will help to provide total midwifery care for both high and low risk women within the community setting, providing the necessary supervision, care and advice to women during their pregnancy journey.
The successful candidate will provide effective communication and liaison with other acute providers of maternity care, engaging with other partners and members of the wider multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
