As part of thePre-Operative Assessmentservice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role offers an excellent chance to develop a broad range of clinical skills including:

  • 12-lead ECG recording
  • Venepuncture
  • Local anaesthetic telephone assessments

You will be an integral part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, committed to ensuring patients are fully prepared for their surgical journey.

  • Demonstrate clear and robust communication skills
  • Must understand basic requirements for individualised personal care

Qualifications/Academic/Craft/Professional

Essential

  • NVQ 2 in care or working towards
  • Relevant experience

Desirable

  • NVQ 3 in care

Further Training

Essential

  • Mandatory updates

Desirable

  • Venepuncture, SFHT clinical procedure training for HCAs
  • Capillary blood glucose monitoring
