Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic technician to organise and supervise the day-to-day running of our Aseptic Production Unit at King's Mill Hospital.
Our aseptic service provides bespoke chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and parenteral nutrition to patients across Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
We are currently in the exciting process of purchasing a new modular aseptic suite, which is due to be installed later this year. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to its commissioning and validation, and to join us as we begin this new chapter.
The successful applicant must be a registered Pharmacy Technician or registered Science Manufacturing Technician, with proven experience and knowledge of working in an aseptic environment.

- Specialist knowledge of production technical practice to allow supervision to degree level within own area of work.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and COSHH regulations.
- Knowledge of dispensary procedures.

Qualifications

- NVQ 3 and/or BTEC in pharmaceutical science.
- Registered Technician with General Pharmaceutical Council.
Desirable
- GCE/GCSE Grade C in Maths and English Language.
