Specialist Nurse ASD/ADHD

Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Nurse to join our Community Paediatric Service. This is a full-time role based at King's Mill Hospital, offering an exciting opportunity to work within a diverse and supportive team of professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the care and assessment of children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). You will lead independent nurse-led clinics across the Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark, and Sherwood areas, and contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments, supporting young people and their families throughout their care journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nurse-led review clinics for children with ASD/ADHD.
• Support neurodevelopmental assessments and care planning.
• Provide expert advice and support to families and carers.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in training and teaching opportunities within the Trust.
