Job summary
A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a Registered Nurse/AHP to join the Medical Education education team, leading on simulation training.
The successful candidate will play a central role in leading the strategic development, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality clinical simulation and skills training. You will be responsible for designing and delivering simulation-based training to support both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, as well as developing in-situ simulation opportunities for multi-professional teams.
As the lead in this role, you will oversee the simulation strategy, ensuring alignment with national standards and Trust objectives. You will provide support for faculty development, incorporating technology-enhanced learning (TEL) opportunities to enrich the training experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and experience in simulation, along with the ability to work effectively across different clinical disciplines. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire teams, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
