Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Associate Audiologists to join our successful team working in modern, well-equipped facilities. This role is ideal for motivated individuals with a passion for delivering high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As an Associate Audiologist within our IQIPS-accredited Audiology Department at King's Mill Hospital, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with hearing, tinnitus and vestibular conditions. You will be involved in a wide variety of audiological assessments and treatments, working with a diverse patient group from children to adults and supporting their journey towards improved health and well-being.

Your role will also include participation in clinics for both routine and complex cases, alongside working with other health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive multidisciplinary team, enabling you to grow and refine your skills. The department also offers opportunities for continuous professional development, allowing you to stay at the forefront of the audiology field.

  • Experience across a range of diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiological procedures
  • Excellent communication verbal and written skills especially with the hearing impaired
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to demonstrate initiative, motivation and independent thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to manage self effectively
  • Ability to cope with decision making under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Clinical decision-making skills and ability to identify appropriate methodologies and strategies
  • IT skills

Desirable

  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Involvement with Clinical audit and research

QualificationsAcademic/ Craft/ Professional

  • HNC/D or DipHE in Audiology (or equivalent qualification) and professional British Association of Audiologists (BAAT) Part l and ll written and practical examinations or equivalent
