Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate an effective and efficient Outpatient Booking servicefor all staff at Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
  • Maintain and administer accurate capacity and utilisation datato ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Enhance the utilisation of Outpatient Clinic Spacethrough strategic planning and management.
  • Develop and maintain the electronic floor plannerto streamline operations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all outpatient activityon Careflow and Intouch systems.
  • Lead training sessionsfor staff on the online booking system.
  • Continuously review and improve existing working methodsto enhance efficiency.
  • Pilot and implement new procedures and systemsto stay ahead in healthcare management.
  • Act as the point of contactfor nursing staff, Ops support managers, and booking managers to ensure clinics run smoothly.
  • Stay up-to-date with mandatory trainingto maintain high standards of care.
  • Provide support to the teamas needed to foster a collaborative environment.

Essential

  • Computer literate with advanced keyboard skills.
  • Computer literate and able to use software packages (including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Good working knowledge of the NHS in general.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Ability to gather and interpret complex data

Qualifications

Essential

  • A good level of general education to A level standard (to include English and Maths) or equivalent level of experience.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communications and organisational skills
  • Ability to work with all professions throughout the Trust and with colleagues in partner organisations involved in the management or provision of health and social care services

  • NVQ II Administration
