Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Physiotherapist to join our dedicated therapy team on the stroke unit at Sherwood Forest Hospitals.

In this role, you will collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team (MDT) specializing in stroke and neurology, providing a superb environment for both newly qualified physiotherapists and those with experience looking to expand and consolidate their knowledge in stroke rehabilitation.

Our inpatient stroke unit offers comprehensive care, including hyper acute, acute, and rehab/recovery phases, with strong links to the community to ensure outstanding patient outcomes. If you are committed to making a difference in stroke rehabilitation and eager to work in a supportive and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!

Main duties of the job

-Providing quality patient care and assessments

-Assessing patients for equipment needs

-Assessing and advising around discharge destinations

-Leading your own caseload

-Progressing patients towards their rehabilitation goals
