Exciting Full-Time Opportunity: Payroll Processing Manager at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are delighted to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Payroll Processing Manager at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As the Payroll Processing Manager, you will facilitate efficient and accurate weekly and monthly payroll timetables. You will also be responsible for all reporting submissions for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Trust's Corporate payroll and associated systems, including the Electronic Staff Records system (ESR), E-expenses, and E-Rostering interfaces.

  • Collaborate closely with the Payroll and Pensions Manager to support system-related activities.

  • Support the delivery of excellent pension administration services in line with best practice reporting standards

  • Excellent numerical and verbal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of IT packages, including Word, Excel and computerised Finance Systems including ESR
  • Knowledge of Agenda for change, Doctor Contracts as Appointment commission's terms and conditions

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Year-End procedures

  • Good secondary education
  • To hold a recognised Payroll Supervisory qualification (i.e. CIPP or Payroll NVQ level 5) Or qualified by experience
