Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Planning & Business Continuity Officer (EPBCO) to join our Corporate Operations team.
The EPBCO will lead the Trust's Emergency Planning, Resilience, and Response (EPRR) function, ensuring that our Trust is fully compliant with NHS England Core Standards for Emergency Preparedness and that all sites and services meet high standards of safety and preparedness.
The ideal candidate will offer expert advice to senior leaders, ensuring comprehensive readiness for incidents and emergencies, as well as maintaining robust business continuity and response plans.

- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or ability to demonstrate extensive expertise in this area of specialism.
Desirable
- Specialist training in emergency planning and/or business continuity management
- Has a willingness to become a member of the Emergency Planning Society and the Business Continuity Institute
- Dip HEP qualification or for an equivalent sector
