Job summary
Are you a Registered Nurse who wishes to be part of a team that delivers outstanding care?
The Division of Surgery, Anaesthetics & Critical Care is an integral part of Sherwood Forest Hospitals. We comprise specialist wards for various surgical disciplines, including colorectal, general surgery, trauma orthopaedics, elective orthopaedics, day case, adult critical care, and theatres. We are a friendly team who work closely together, offering excellent training and education opportunities.
Due to an expansion of the trauma orthopaedic bed base, we have opened a new Elective Orthopaedic Suite. Here, we care for all our elective joint replacement patients pre- and post-operatively in a green ringfenced environment. We promote enhanced recovery, encourage early safe mobilisation, manage pain effectively, and follow up with patients after discharge through our nurse triage system to ensure they continue to recover well in the community.
