Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Respiratory Typist Team.You will be working as part of a team providing high quality audio typing and clerical duties for the department, working closely with the Patient Pathway Coordinators.

This role is a part time role with some remote working (days to be negotiated) three days a week, ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

You will be responsible for the audio typing of clinical correspondence within specified timescales. You will need to be a fast and accurate audio typist with knowledge of medical terminology. You will also be able to prioritise your workload with constantly changing demands, to meet agreed deadlines. You will be able to use your own initiative and respond to queries appropriately.

  • Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general

  • RSA II (or equivalent)
