Job summary

Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) are an Information Management & Technology (IM&T) service provider. We supply digital services including Infrastructure Management, Cyber Security, a full range of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Line Technical Support Services, along with Professional and Transformation services including Project Management & Training teams.

Corporate and Business Supportare the internal business functions which are required for us to run as an ICT support service, and include financial management, corporate assurance, meetings administration (the NHIS Admin Team) and the internal digital business team.

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual with exceptional communication and organisational skills. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn different ICT systems and processes to help support the Digital Business Team provide excellent service to our customers and partners.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1 post on a full time basis, supporting NHIS in the role of Digital Business Support Officer.

Main duties of the job

The NHIS Digital Business Team (DBT) maintain and develop positive and robust relationships with NHIS customers.

The DBT's main remit is to foster the relationship between the Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) and its existing customer base, ensuring that the products and services provided, along with the associated performance is efficient, continues to remain effective and meeting the needs of the client organisation.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support their Internal Digital Business Partner & Assistant Digital Business Partner to understand customer requirements in relation to their and broader NHS ICT strategies
  • The post holder will need to be able to carry, move and pick up small, medium, large and heavy ICT equipment in support of the NHIS the stock management processes and procedures
  • Own specific non-complex customer requirements and formally offer a solution via the issuing of a formal quotation on behalf of NHIS
  • Extract information from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management system and associated tools to provide analysis, interpretation, and findings
  • Support the Digital & Assistant digital busines partners with the procurement of equipment and services adhering to the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions.
  • Resolve a range of problems, for example data quality issues and ensure that future learning is cascaded through all service lines
