Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Division of Women & Children's for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Operations Managers to support the work of the Business Unit on a fixed term basis.
We were recently awarded a Good rating by the CQC, with Kings Mill Hospital rated outstanding overall. Our Critical Care Unit was rated good and outstanding for caring. We're one of the best in the country for our performance against the four hour standard, 62 day cancer standard, stroke services, maternity services and our clinicians are regularly asked to speak nationally and internationally on our work. But don't take our word for it - 84% of our inpatients rated their overall experience as good and our staff satisfaction for the quality of care they provide is fourth best for acute Trusts across the country.

Main duties of the job
We are proud of our improvements over the last five years at Sherwood Forest Hospitals, and we recognise we can improve further. We know good quality healthcare can only be delivered by focussing on the experience of people, be it patients and the public or the colleagues you work with.
The post holder will be an excellent communicator, who will be responsible for all aspects of business support, including the provision and analysis of performance management information, information to support service development and the development of business cases and plans.
This post will support the specialty areas of Maternity and Gynaecology.
