Join Our Team as a Senior Health Care Support Worker - Stoma Care

Are you passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? We have a full-time opportunity for you at King's Mill Hospital in the Surgery division.

Your Role:

• Integrate with surgical and medical teams to provide top-notch care to patients with colorectal and bladder diseases, helping them adapt to life with a stoma.
• Identify and address psychological, physiological, spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs, ensuring a smooth transition for ostomates.
• Offer continuous support, communication, and access to those with long-term management needs.
• Assist in coordinating patients' care journey from pre-operative to discharge and ongoing community support.
• Collaborate closely with our amazing multi-disciplinary team to prioritise patient care.
