Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a significant impact in healthcare? King's Mill Hospital has an exciting opportunity for you!
As a Hospital Out of Hours Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient care, while also supporting the reduction of Junior Doctors' working hours in alignment with the European working time directive.
? Your Responsibilities Include:? Providing strong clinical leadership within a multi-professional team.? Offering advice, support, guidance, and education to nursing and Junior medical staff.? Being a role model and expert practitioner.? Responding to critical issues as part of the Hospital Out of Hours team.? Ensuring prompt support and effective clinical assessment/treatment.? Developing advanced assessment skills and knowledge.? Expanding professional practice in line with nursing professional codes.? Undertaking procedures like cannulations, venepuncture, catheterisation, and 12 lead ECG recordings.? Independent non-medical prescribing upon qualification.? Collaborating closely with the Duty Nurse Manager.? Prioritising workloads with the aid of Nerve Centre.
