Job summary
We've created a new Communications Officer role to help support and develop Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) communications projects across the board.
The best bits of this role include creating a range of innovative and creative messages to use both internally with staff, and externally to a range of customers across all of Nottinghamshire.
This unique role sits within the Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust Communications Team, along with the NHIS Communications Specialist. NHIS is an ICT support service for many health services across Nottinghamshire, hosted by Sherwood Forest Hospital (SFH) and based predominantly at King's Mill Hospital.
Main duties of the job
We've a dedicated communications function and we're after someone who is happy writing content for customer emails, web & socials, as well as cyber and critical incidents, as much as they are for crafting project launch and staff notifications.
You'll lead on regular business communications as well as some exciting new projects that are in the pipeline. We have a presence at events, some internal and others with customers. And there's a need to improve our presence on social media and digital platforms.
So if you've a keen eye for detail and love the challenge of finding bespoke ways to get your messages across, take a look at the full job description or get in touch with Elissa Bush, NHIS Communications Specialist, for a discussion about all things new and exciting!
