Job summary
Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding opportunity in the healthcare sector? If so, we have the perfect position for you! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Outpatient Booking Supervisor to join our team on a fixed-term basis for 6 months.
You must meet the below criteria
- A good general education and have GCSE English C or above or equivalent
- Flexible approach to work
- Knowledge of RTT
- Work closely with the Business Managers in ensuring services are running efficiently
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Care flow, E-referrals and the Inter consultant referral system
- Knowledge of OPD procedures
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Outpatients Key performance Indicators
- Must be confident in Excel spreadsheets and be able to highlight trends
Main duties of the job
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and monitor the work of the staff within the booking team ensuring work is allocated fairly
- Appraisal process and Well being meetings
- Monitor and reporting of sickness absence
- Delivery of communication cell and team briefing
- Ensuring full adherence to department standards
- Audit and cleansing of patient waiting lists
- Be a mentor for new starters ensuring individuals are fully trained and confident in every aspect of their role
- Monitor slot Utilisation and DNA rate and highlight any trends
- Ensure ASI dummies monthly deadline is met.
- Contribute to the ongoing review of existing methods of working
