Job summary
We are seeking skilled, motivated and approachable individuals to work within the existing resuscitation services team.
We are a small, dynamic, friendly team who work closely together and with other specialist teams to provide resuscitation services for all patient groups across the trust's sites to ensure:
- staff are well trained and supported
- safe systems and functional, effective equipment are in place
- cardiac arrest events that occur within our hospitals are reviewed to celebrate success and identify areas for learning.
We work Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:00 and are primarily based at the King's Mill Hospital site.
Main duties of the job
- Development and delivery of high quality resuscitation and deteriorating patient training to trust and other healthcare staff.
- Audit and governance relating to cardiac arrest events which occur across the trust including national reporting.
- Supporting development, maintenance and education around resuscitation equipment and systems.
- Clinical and pastoral support for trust staff at and after 2222 and other traumatic events.

- High level communication skills

- Evidence of an in-depth knowledge of contemporary resuscitation issues includes the Resuscitation Council (UK and ERC) guidelines and recommendations
- Knowledge of governance issues and NHS standards relevant to the sphere of resuscitation training and practice
- Awareness of the legal aspects of resuscitation

- Ability to set up, demonstrate and use training equipment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills

- Qualified health professional holding registration with a professional healthcare body
