Community Diagnostic Centre - Project Support Officer

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

We now have a fantastic fixed-term opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) Project team until the end of March 2024, (a post which is hosted by Sherwood Forest Hospitals, (SFH). The CDC, based in Mansfield, gained government funding in early 2023, and the post will involve working with the project team, whose main objective is to construct and operationalise the CDC within its project scope, time and budget.

The core principles of the project team are delivery, problem solving and project assurance and governance. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of excellent organisation and administrative skills to support delivery.

Main duties of the job

In this important fixed term role, you will work as a Project Support Officer, supporting the Diagnostic Improvement Programme Manager, Operational and Clinical lead to deliver the CDC project.

You will support the project team to:-

  • co-ordinate the CDC project, providing liaison with members of the clinical, operational, and other hospital staff, resolving day to day issues (within scope of the role) independently.
  • provide administrative input and support to collate, update and interpret 'high level' results from project documents, in terms of progress against delivery.
  • act as the first point of contact for general CDC project enquiries, inclusive of supporting the Diagnostic Improvement Programme Manager in the monitoring and management of the Mansfield CDC generic email address

The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and hard working, have the ability to work and build relationships with all key project stakeholders, who will also include colleagues external to SFH.
