Job summary
The post holder will act as a courteous, professional, and welcoming point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring that reception services are consistently maintained and adequately staffed. They will proactively monitor patient flow and waiting times, escalating any concerns in a timely manner to support service efficiency and enhance the patient experience.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will respond to informal queries and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism, seeking appropriate resolution where possible. They will maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality and data protection standards at all times, ensuring that all information is handled securely and in line with organisational policies.
The post holder will also be responsible for producing ad hoc data reports, preparing information leaflets and correspondence as required, and ensuring that any adverse incidents or complaints are appropriately identified, recorded, and escalated in accordance with Trust procedures.
