Job summary
The Department of Clinical Gerontology at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), a division of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Specialty Registrar with a passion for patient-centred, fully integrated Gerontology care to join our team.
Main duties of the job
The post provide an exciting range of opportunities, from Acute Frailty to Community Outreach, Orthogeriatrics and Surgical Liaison. Applicants will have the choice of sub-specialty. This includes working across the Acute Frailty Unit on the PRUH site and the new Community Facing Frailty Wards at Orpington Hospital, Movement Disorder and Falls clinics. Other specialist areas of interest within Geriatrics are encouraged and can be discussed on application. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in ED, Acute Medicine and will be involved in the GIM on-call rota..
