We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Physiotherapist Occupational Health and Wellbeing. You will be experienced in working in a healthcare setting and enthusiastic about delivery a high quality service.
Main duties of the job
To provide highly specialist physiotherapy fitness to work assessments, treatment interventions and case management for own caseload of occupational health patients with musculoskeletal conditions. To assess, treat and manage own complex caseload using specialist knowledge and skills as an autonomous practitioner, including the maintenance of comprehensive records. To provide specialist advice to physiotherapy colleagues and other members of the occupational health team regarding occupational health physiotherapy. The post holder will be embedded within the Occupational Health Department, but will also actively link with the musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy service. To undertake a team leader role in managing, planning and delivering the physiotherapy service within occupational health. To supervise, teach and develop less experienced physiotherapists, student physiotherapists and other members of the occupational health multidisciplinary team. Act as a senior member of the occupational health clinical team.

You will be working as an autonomous practitioner leading the musculoskeletal assessment and treatment Physiotherapy service for staff via the Kings College Hospital Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service.
To provide specialist musculoskeletal assessment skills to support the Physiotherapy Service within the Department of Occupational Health & Wellbeing setting.
To work as an autonomous and effective member of the Occupational Health (OH) team, communicating appropriately with patients (trust staff are patients in OH), managers, human resource advisors and other team members as required.

To facilitate improved work ability or the early and safe return to work of staff on sickness absence through phased return to work programmes and adjustments. To teach and offer advice to colleagues and other members of the OH MDT regarding Physiotherapy OH interventions.
The post holder will work within the Occupational Health Department at Kings College Hospital but may also be required to work on alternative sites (i.e. to complete work place assessments or cover other off-site clinics).
