Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Clinical Site Management team at King's College Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the smooth running on all aspects of clinical site management, ensuring that local and national targets are achieved in order to provide safe, effective care whilst ensuring quality and performance.
The post holder will help to effectively manage the Trusts bed capacity, over a twenty-four-hour period ensuring all emergency and elective admissions meet both contractual and access targets.
The post holder will provide senior nursing support for the hospital out of hours and provide advanced clinical skills to support the hospital at night.
The post holder will be expected to utilise operational and clinical knowledge as necessary to undertake this role in order to train and support all staff; establish clinical priorities and ensure the smooth operational function of the organisation.
Working hours are predominantly nights and weekends with occasional day shifts after a suitable period of site specific experience.
