Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer - Stores and Distribution

Job summary
The post holder will be supporting the efficient and effective operation of the stores/distribution area, the top up service and stock control within the pharmacy stores of The Princess Royal University Hospital.
Main duties of the job
- To participate in the supply of medicines to wards and departments
- To assist in the receipt, unpacking and storage of incoming goods into the department
- To investigate errors and discrepancies in orders, and take necessary action
- To carry out stock control procedures within the department
- To oversee storage and removal of paperwork kept for legal requirement
