Job summary
Security Team Leader
King's College Hospital has an exciting opportunity to join their Security Department. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead one of our four Operational Security Teams. The successful candidate will be looking at developing their existing supervisory skills and will be expected to proactively contribute, sometimes in a very demanding environment. We have one Security Shift Leader post available, to work a 24/7 shift pattern which attracts a salary of between £37461 - £45603 dependent on experience and abilities. Plus Inner London HCAS of 20%.
You should ideally have experience of working in a supervisory capacity and in a security type role, with an understanding of CCTV, access control and various alarm systems, etc. You must be physically fit with good communication skills, along with the personality and experience to relate to people in all situations. You will be expected to exercise control and restraint techniques, for which full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job
To manage the daily operations of the King's College Hospital security team, ensuring they provide a high profile, visible uniformed presence to the general public and the hospital's patients & staff thereby providing positive reassurance to all persons. Fulfilling all duties and ensuring the team perform to agreed standards in accordance with the Trust's policies and to be primarily employed on the Denmark Hill campus working a twenty-four hour shift based roster.
