Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in the sub-specialties of Cardiac Imaging/Echocardiology.
This is a clinical post, and the appointee will be expected to contribute to the clinical service with the other 7 Specialty Registrars. This will involve the on-call rota (1:10) and covering emergencies in other specialties within the hospital. Whilst these are not research fellow posts, there will be opportunities to get involved with commercial and non-commercial cardiac research.
Tenure: 12 months.Post starting Jan/Feb 2024.
Main duties of the job
These posts are designed for Specialty Trainees in Cardiology who intend to specialise in these sub-specialties who have already commenced training in general cardiology and wish to gain more sub-specialty experience, perhaps by taking an 'out-of-programme experience [OOPE]' from their current training programmes.
