Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH) is recruiting for our Site Chief Executive - Princess Royal University Hospital and South Sites (PRUH).

Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the Site CEO will be accountable for leading and delivering the strategy for the PRUH and South Sites and as a voting Board member and a member of the King's Executive Team, the post holder will share corporate responsibility and accountability for the overall strategic direction and management of the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The role is responsible for 6 Care Groups (4 based at the PRUH, and 2 cross-site), as well as the Trust cancer network, Medical Engineering and Physics, and Therapies. The Site CEO will lead a visible and high performing leadership team to deliver both site-specific and Trust-wide strategies and work plans that ensure the best experience for our patients and service users. They will also take an active role in the local health system (One Bromley), ensuring our communities have input into the way care is delivered.

The successful candidate will have significant senior management experience in an NHS acute Trust. Additionally, they will have extensive experience of leading a complex, large service / organisation, with a demonstrable track record of sound financial and operational management.
