Job summary

An opportunity has arisen within the Critical care medical administrator rota team for a 12 months maternity cover. The post holder will also support the service, senior management team, speciality clinical team and the wider divisional team in the delivery of performance and business objectives.

This is a demanding and varied role and we require a proactive and confident person to fill the post. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential along with proven hospital administration experience.

Main duties of the job

Main duties will include:

Master rota: Setting up the master rota, Adding names, laying the shifts, approving leaves, sending log in details, calculating annual leave entitlement for DH for each rotation.

Collating the rota slot preferences, for all new starters joining or rotating to our department.

Assigning slots on the rota.

Main rota slots checks & management

Calculating and adding annual leave entitlements on Health Roster, ensuring the correct entitlement is added for the doctors .

Minutes, taking minutes in divisional meetings

Auto rostering

Managing carry forward / selling annual leave

LTFT rota, for doctors that work part time hours ensuring that their rota is compliant
