An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated MRI Radiographer to join our dedicated team inChesteron a12-month fixed-term, full-time contract (37.5 hours/week)with an attractive and flexible work pattern that supports an excellent work-life balance.

You'll be part of a busy, forward-thinking department offering a wide range of MRI services including musculoskeletal imaging, cancer staging, paediatric imaging, and a well-established general anaesthetic (GA) and pacemaker service. Our imaging facilities feature threeSiemens 1.5T scanners--Aera, Avanto Fit, and Sola--across our main site and our Community Diagnostic Hub.

We're looking for candidates with at least2 years' MRI experienceand strong clinical skills. A comprehensiveinduction programmewill ensure a smooth transition into the team.

Main duties of the job

  • MRI scanning of a caseload including Paediatrics, abdominal, Gynae, neuro, MSK.
  • Liaison with clinical teams and referrers.
  • Supervision and training of less experienced and rotational staff.
  • Involvement with administrative/managerial aspects of the department.

The Trust's services are provided from three locations: o The Countess of Chester Hospital: providing 473 general and acute beds. o Ellesmere Port Hospital: providing 60 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility. o Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: a base for community services which serve the local rural population.
