Main duties of the job
Undertake all training as deemed appropriate to the role.Daily supervision of Domestic Services staff within designated areas.Effective planning and utilisation of Domestic Services rotas to deliver a high-quality baseline clean in accordance with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025 and individual work schedules for each functional area.Monitor work schedules and cleanliness standards in all functional areas on a daily basis.Monitoring, assessing and recording cleanliness standards in all functional areas using the auditing monitoring software.To prepare an effective handover to the oncoming supervisory team of objectives achieved, target condition met and recorded.To take responsibility for the off going shifts supervisory handover, establishing outstanding service requirements and adjusting plans to maintain target condition.Allocate and authorise annual leave for Domestic staff.Monitor attendance and absence of domestic staff.Complete relevant administrative documentation relating to sickness, annual leave and training.Report any incidents/accidents to the appropriate Manager and document using the Trusts Datix reporting system.Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies requirements. Visit areas to identify cleaning supplies required.
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

o The Countess of Chester Hospital: providing 473 general and acute beds.o Ellesmere Port Hospital: providing 60 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility.o Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: a base for community services which serve the local rural population.
