JUNIOR CLINICAL FELLOW IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE (ST1/2 Level)

This progressive Emergency Department is seeking well motivated, enthusiastic Doctors to join the team.
We are offering the opportunity to develop and hone your clinical skills in a busy Emergency Department that sees over 80,000 patients per year with guidance from a 12-person senior consultant and associate specialist team.
This junior clinical fellow post is aimed at those working at an ST2 equivalent level. Candidates must have 2 years Foundation Training or equivalent plus a year of consolidation work in an appropriate acute hospital setting.
You will join the junior training grade doctors rota that will involve working nights, lates, days and weekends - full details of the rota is available upon request. The department will consider requests for working less than full time, with a pro-rata rota covering nights and weekends.
Applicants must have full registration with a license to Practice with the GMC.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be dedicated to the assessment, treatment and transfer/discharge of patients attending the Emergency Department. You will be supported by 24 hour middle grade cover. There is shop floor Consultant cover form 9 a.m. to 12 midnight Monday to Friday and at weekends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to midnight. You will be accountable to the Consultants in Emergency Medicine.
