An exciting opportunity has come up for qualified diagnostic radiographers to join the MRI team at The Countess of Chester Hospital due to exciting internal movement and service expansion.
We are looking for fresh and dynamic individuals who have an excellent technical background to join our friendly and welcoming MRI team .You should be flexible with your approach to work, forward thinking, enthusiastic, and motivated to share our vision for excellent patient care.
During the past twelve months we have taken delivery of a new Siemens Sola 1.5T at our new Community Diagnostic Hub and are busy working with our MRI Physicist on our newly installed acceleration software. We also have a Siemens 1.5T Aera and a 1.5T Siemens AvantoFit at our main site.
In this post, you can expect to perform a diverse range of diagnostic MR procedures on a day to day basis, as well as being part of the team providing a pacemaker service , paediatric GA service and working closely with our local paediatric and Neuro specialist centres .

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the provision of a high quality and efficient MRI Service.To work as part of a professional radiography team providing a high-quality diagnostic service.To develop and improve professional expertise via Continued Professional Development.To maintain a safe working environment within the MRI department.The post holder will be required to participate in the extended day and seven-day cover for MRI.The postholder will rotate through all three MRI scanners (this includes our CDC site at Ellesmere Port Hospital)
