Band 2 Health Care Assistant Ward 50 Care of the Elderly
We are looking for kind, caring, and compassionate individuals to work with our existing team and help care for our elderly ladies.
Patients on ward 50 have complex life limiting illnesses and often also suffer with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. It is very important that candidates can display excellent communication skills in order to work successfully with these patients.
There is a shared day room for the patients to use.
We work closely with our therapy team to promote independence for our patients.
Although experience and qualifications in elderly care are desirable they are not essential as on the job training will be provided. We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to help us provide safe, kind and effective care.
