We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Jubilee Team as Deputy Ward Manager.
The Jubilee Unit comprises of Day Ward, Long Stay Day Case (LSDC) and Theatre Admissions Lounge (TAL) and forms part of the Elective Centre.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Ward Manager to lead and develop the Nursing Team working throughout the elective pathway.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly and supportive team.
Working closely with the Ward Manager you will take the lead in training and development needs to all the Staff within Jubilee Unit as well as working clinically and providing leadership on a day-to-day basis.
Previous surgical experience is essential, an understanding of the elective pathway is also desirable
The Elective Centre includes Jubilee Day Ward, LSDC, TAL, Ward 56, JAU and Pre-Operative Assessment.
This centre has the patient at the heart of the elective pathway from Pre-Operative Assessment through to discharge.
All teams working within the Elective Centre work to the common goal of delivering excellent quality care, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction and maintaining patient flow.
