Corporate Governance Officer (Internal only)

Job summary

**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes currentEast Cheshire NHS Trust employees,both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups.**

The Corporate Governance Officer will support the Corporate Governance Manager in delivering the highest standards of corporate governance in the Trust. The role will ensure that meetings of the Board and Board Sub-Committees are run efficiently and effectively by providing comprehensive administrative support including minute taking and being a key contact for Committee members.

Hours per week: 37.5

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be expected to work on their own authority and initiative, prioritising their own time to ensure that deadlines are met, and work in collaboration with the Chair, Non-Executive Directors, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Directors of the Trust, Executive Assistants supporting the Executive Team.

The post holder will also provide comprehensive administrative service to the Trust Conflict of Interest process, ensuring this is run efficiently and effectively and that the Trust achieves the required compliance standard.

The post holder must be able to embrace working in a dynamic and demanding office environment, while maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail on specific tasks.
