The small, friendly team of Children's Physio and OT based at Pavilion House are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Children's Therapy Service.

This would be to support the team to deliver high quality Occupational Therapy intervention to children in a variety of settings in the East Cheshire NHS locality.

We would also consider a band 5 development role depending on experience and training of competencies would be provided. Previous NHS experience is required.

Travel is an essential part of this role, please demonstrate on your application form how you would meet this requirement.

Hours per week: 37.5

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work with children and young people with a range of needs in a variety of settings including at home, in clinics, schools, special school and nurseries where appropriate. The post holder will work closely with parents, educational staff and other allied health professionals to provide a coordinated service to the children/young people in all settings.

The post holder will have knowledge and experience in the area of Paediatric Occupational Therapy, demonstrating relevant experience and post registration training. The post holder will have experience of multi-disciplinary working, and experience of working autonomously and managing their own complex caseload in a busy team.
