An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Paediatric Dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetic team at East Cheshire NHS Trust on a permanentcontract. Part time, flexible working, and job share applicants are very welcome to apply.

This is a development band 5 to band 6 post. The successful candidate will move to their band 6 post once the required competency is reached.

Main duties of the job
To work as a clinical specialist Dietitian providing Dietetics services to patients on the wards and in clinic at MDGH, improving patient experience, supporting patient flow and ensuring high quality care by working as part of the wider MDT in the acute setting.
To deliver clinical assessment and interventions for patients across the wards and clinics who have been referred into dietetics services.
To work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team to utilise diagnostic test results to inform relevant onward recommendations as necessary.
To support operational manager manager and the advanced clinical specialist in the development of services, and to provide training, support and supervision to junior staff and students.
