Job summary
**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes currentEast Cheshire NHS Trust employees,both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups.**
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated person to join us in delivering a first class, innovative service to support the Senior Management Team. The role will also include team leader responsibility for the administration team and tasks in support of the Directorate.
We would like you to be highly proactive and able to use your own initiative and judgement to help manage the workload in addition to be customer focused. The post holder will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and the role requires you to have great communication skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite. You will be able to react calmly when dealing with multiple tasks that need to be delivered to tight time-frames.

Main duties of the job
Provide a comprehensive confidential PA support service to the Senior Management Team covering diary management, appointments, meetings, events and conferences, dealing with queries and projects and setting up and maintaining databases.
Team leader and line manager for administration team.
Transcription and composing of letters - letters are often of a confidential, sensitive or contentious nature.
Handling incoming/outgoing mail, distributing all routine correspondence. The post holder is also responsible for flagging up any urgent post/emails, taking any necessary action in the absence of the Senior Management Team
Diary Management - use of electronic diary, ensuring diaries are free from clashes, ensuring regular meetings are planned well in advance and all papers available in a timely manner to facilitate meetings.
