An exciting opportunity has arisen for a role in the Discharge Lounge at Macclesfield District General Hospital. We are inviting applications for Band 5 Nurses who are newly qualified or due to qualify in the coming months or experienced Nurses who are seeking to expand their knowledge and skills within the Medical Assessment Unit.
The Discharge Lounge is a busy, thriving department but rewarding where you will be surrounded by friendly and supportive colleagues in an environment that encourages new ideas, innovation and personal development.

Main duties of the job
The role of a Staff Nurse is to support in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the staff nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care, delivered using a holistic, patient-focused approach, while ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.
