Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a busy and rapidly expanding unit for a highly motivated Co-ordinator Endoscopy and Treatment Unit to join our friendly and dynamic team.
We operate a 6 day week service 8am to 7pm including evening clinics.
The successful candidate will be required to work in all clinical areas of the department and will be expected to participate in the on call rota to provide a 24 hour service.
Considerable experience in working in the Endoscopy Unit as well as leadership and management experience is essential. The post holder should have a broad range of clinical skills, have excellent organisational skills, be innovative, self-motivated, flexible and willing to cover the service. You will be supported in your role by the Unit manager.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the multidisciplinary team in providing a high quality service meeting the physical and emotional requirements for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures within the endoscopy and Treatment Unit.
To work within the Clinical Governance Programme
To support other members of staff to deliver a high quality service
To act as the Unit Managers deputy, and to manage the department in the absence of the Unit Manager
